Hazelnuts have been our main crop for decades. we started to replant our orchard with Jefferson and Geneva varieties.
you can enjoy them fresh or dry them for cooking or roasting.
walnuts were the original crop before a flood killed them off. we replanted a few trees. when there is a good crop we sell them fresh and unbleached.
our chestnuts are the newest crop. we have a dozen or so trees producing big and beautiful nuts.
When: our u-pick is seasonal and we open when the hazelnuts are falling. typically we open late September / early October.

Prices - 2024 season:
hazelnuts u-pick. $3.00 pound
Hazelnuts (picked).
Walnuts (picked). $3.50 pound
Chestnuts (picked). $4.00 pound
orders: walnuts and chestnuts are available but it is best to place an order. we accept orders by email starting in august. We cannot guarantee orders will be filled.
What to bring: buckets and bags to collect your nuts. we have burlap bags for sale and buckets to borrow but best to bring your own.
what to wear: you will need to get down on your knees to pick so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. in the mornings, the dew can be heavy so bring your boots.
The orchard is accessible by wheelchair.
